Enjoy select wines from local production
Grapes were cultivated in vineyards at the Tschötscherhof in St. Oswald beneath Seis more than a century ago.
The grapevines – some more than a hundred years old – to be found here on the estate are evidence of that. Thanks to the especially mild climatic conditions and the interest in experimentation of Andreas Jaider, the farmer and vintner was able to achieve remarkable results, with grapes and wine of excellent quality.
These local wines – plus many other select South Tyrolean vintages – can be enjoyed here on the Tschötsch Alm. And now we are attempting to cultivate grapes here on the Tschötsch Alm itself – at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea-level. The results are sure to be exciting!
