Frequently Asked Questions - Tschötsch Alm on the Alpe di Siusi
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our mountain hut on Bullaccia, near the Sciliar.
The best option is to take the Seis–Seiser Alm cable car from Seis to the mountain station in Compatsch. From there, two hiking trails lead directly to the Tschötsch Alm: Trail PU (approx. 25–30 minutes) or Trail 14 (35–40 minutes). Another option is to take the Puflatsch Telemix lift (operating from late May to mid-October). The valley station is 10 minutes from the top station of the Seiser Alm cable car. From the top station of the Puflatsch Telemix lift, it’s about a 5-minute walk downhill to the Tschötsch Alm.
Those who do not wish to use the cable car can also drive to the Alm by car. (P1 Spitzbühl parking lot or P2 Compatsch parking lot). Parking must be booked online. Access is permitted until 9 a.m.; after that, the road is closed. Parking is available at the Compatsch parking lot starting at 5 a.m.

No, by car you can only drive as far as Compatsch (Parking Lot P2). You must book your parking pass online in advance. We recommend taking the Seis–Seiser Alm cable car up to the Alm and enjoying the magnificent panoramic views along the way.
Yes, the kitchen staff offers a great selection of gluten-free dishes. There’s even a separate small menu for them. However, the dishes are not prepared in a separate kitchen.
