Honestly, it's not so easy to get up on holiday - and then at 4/5 am when the alarm goes off?

BUT...

once awake, off you go. You will be picked up by the Alps Activ team and taken to Compatsch on the Alpe di Siusi. And then?

It's uphill and the metres in altitude are increasing. It can be cool, the sky and your head clear. After about 45 minutes of walking, always with the dawn in the background, you finally arrive at the Engelsrast on the highest point of the Puflatsch...at 2150 m.

360° panorama, 53 three-thousand-metre peaks...any questions? and suddenly: the beautiful, mystical sunrise in the middle of the Dolomites, simply AMAZING, ENJOYING, WONDERING...

And then - what do I hear? A rumbling stomach, a desire for freshly brewed coffee and crusty bread, is that possible? Of course, such a climb makes you hungry and thirsty?

SO...

We descend again to 2000 m, only 10 minutes later we are finally ready. Always following the smell of coffee...breakfast at the Tschötsch Alm...holidays can be so beautiful...
After such an experience, the culinary aspect is of course also something special: everything from the farmers around the Alpe di Siusi and homemade...crusty bread, steaming Buchteln, creamy butter, fresh juices, crystal clear mountain water, spicy bacon and cheese, sweet cakes and and and....

After such an adventure, many a friendship has been made...because mind you, above 2000 m there is no "you" any more....
